Dengie SPA is a Special Protection Area on the North Sea coast of the English county of Essex.
It consists of large, remote area of tidal mud-flats and salt marshes at the eastern end of the Dengie peninsula between the estuaries of the Blackwater and Crouch.
It is a wetland of international importance and provides habitats for:
St. Peter-on-the-Wall Chapel overlooks some of the Dengie SPA.
