Reporting data to the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) and the World Database on Other Effective Area-based Conservation Measures (WD-OECM) is a vital step in tracking progress towards Target 3 of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and for understanding the state of world's protected and conserved areas.
